Hi, my name is April and I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and in the process of an autism assessment. For years, I felt like I was constantly missing something everyone else seemed to understand effortlessly. It wasn’t until my diagnosis that I finally began to make sense of the unique way I experienced the world.
I started this blog to share my journey, the struggles, the “aha” moments (or ‘yay me’ moments), and everything in between. My hope is that by opening up about my experiences, you will feel a little less alone in yours. Whether you are navigating a diagnosis, or just starting to explore what ADHD or autism means for you, this is a space where we can grow together, ask questions, and embrace the parts of ourselves that make us who we are.
Let’s figure this out, one day at a time.
